The Waasland emergency services zone was looking for a new website that accurately reflected its social responsibility. The existing site was outdated, fragmented in terms of content, and visually inconsistent with the professional operation of the zone. There was a need for clarity, structure, and a stronger image, both for citizens and for internal and external partners.

We started with content and context, not form. Through intensive consultation with the teams involved, we clearly identified target groups, expectations, and information needs. These insights formed the basis for a clear digital structure and a shared vision for the new website.

We first laid the foundations: target groups, navigation, and information logic. We translated this into a well-thought-out sitemap and wireframes that gave direction to the entire project.

For each page, we defined in advance what information was needed and how it should be presented. This ensured consistent, clear content and a smooth content process.

We built the site in Webflow so that the HVZ Waasland team has complete control over content. Editing pages, publishing news, or updating information can be done without technical dependence.

The site is equipped with analytics, privacy features, forms, and a newsletter link. No loose ends, just a ready-to-use platform.
