Overview
We built a web application that finally brought peace to a practice where dozens of small tasks, messages, and paper trails were jumbled together every day. With Next.js and a scalable API as our foundation, we created the Ontzorg app: a workspace where planning, files, and communication come together effortlessly.
From our perspective, this was not a software project but rather a disentanglement operation. We mapped out the daily reality of home nursing and translated it into a clear, self-evident flow. Nurses can see their care tasks at a glance, files are automatically compiled and shared, referrers provide information securely, and training and continuing education courses are given a permanent place in the system.
The practice retains complete autonomy; the digital layer supports without controlling. What remains is less noise, less administration, and a team that can once again devote its time to care rather than coordination.
Web application for home nursing
Ontzorg is a home nursing organization that supports nurses and practices with administration, planning, and coordination. They combine operational support with their own digital platform (Ontzorg.app) that centralizes care requests, communication, patient files, and payments. Goal: to create administrative peace of mind so that nurses can focus on providing quality care, while maintaining autonomy and professional standards.
